We were looking for an outside TV box that was durable, easy to install and had a pleasing appearance that would protect the TV from the outside elements. There were so many options made a plastic, wood or other materials that did not meet our expectations.

We then came across the “TV Cover Store”. They had all aluminum enclosures that were 100% American made.  

We ordered the TV Fortress for the 75” TV and Sonos sound bar. The TV box shipped timely and installed easily with all the necessary brackets. The TV fortress was well made and constructed for ease of use while protecting the TV from the elements. It met all of our expectations including room for the addition of a Sonos sound bar that could tie into the rest of the house stereo systems. 

Alan, the owner, stayed in constant contact with us throughout the delivery and installation while always making sure we were 100% satisfied. I would highly recommend the “TV Cover Store/TV Fortress” for any of your outdoor cover needs.

I noticed my TV Fortress top wasn’t opening all the way and figured I needed new struts. Since my unit was 4–5 years old, I wasn’t sure if it was still under warranty. I left a message explaining the issue, and within an hour Alan personally called me back and said new struts would be shipped the next day. Besides that one part wearing out, my Fortress has kept my TV completely dry and trouble-free for years. The customer service I received is unheard of in today’s online world. Thanks again for the quick response!

I live right on the beach in Santa Barbara, where saltwater and ocean air eventually ruin everything outside—grills, furniture, even stainless steel. I was skeptical at first, but my first TV Fortress handled it all perfectly. No rust, no corrosion, and my TV stayed crystal clear and dry. Three years after the original purchase, I was so impressed I added a second one for our outdoor kitchen. Finally, something built to last at the coast.”

I purchased my TV Fortress on June 10th, 2024. Although there was an issue with missing hardware the owner called me directly and made everything right.

Mounting was straight forward, and I had it up in a few hours. I mounted the TV Fortress to a Pole Mount on the deck of my seasonal camper which is in Ohio. The weather varies in Ohio, but we had a really bad storm that came though which mangled several gazebos around the campground, also uprooted some trees. 

After the storm, I opened the TV Fortress and found that it was completely dry inside!  Looked at all the Outdoor TV Enclosures available for sale on the internet, and chose the TV Fortress because it was waterproof and made from aluminum. Aluminum repels heat naturally and my TV Fortress sits in direct sunlight. This thing has been amazing and I chose to leave my TV inside it for the winter. I have no doubt my tv will be fine in the spring.

After Hurricane Helene came through Sarasota, our house took some damage, so I honestly expected the worst when I went to check on our outdoor TV. To my surprise, the TV Fortress kept it completely dry and untouched. Even with driving rain and high winds, not a drop got inside. Hurricane Francine ripped through, our siding peeled and gutters tore loose—but the TV Fortress held strong. Despite wind and rain pounding the house, my 55″ outside TV stayed bone-dry. The Fortress truly is worth every dollar for peace of mind in Gulf storms.

I needed to replace my SunBrite TV after it broke and needed a $650 repair.  I decided that I was going to replace it with a "Standard" TV instead of repairing the SunBrite after only 4 years.  I looked at all the outdoor enclosures I could find and decided that I liked the features of the TV Fortress better than the competitors.  I especially liked that I wouldn't have to watch my TV thru a piece of Plexiglas.  I have seen them in action and the additional glare from the plexiglas is a problem.  I'm not worried about cold or heat as I am not going to be outside watching TV in freezing weather and the TV Fortress will be open when I watch it in the summer so it won't get too hot.  I asked Alan about the heat and cold issues before I purchased and the reminded me that TV's are shipped in all types of weather and as long as I used the TV between suggested operating  temperatures I should be OK, my Sony was -4 to 114.  My order arrived by truck line in less than 10 days from when I ordered it and I bought the Mount and door locks as options.  It really was easy for me and a friend to install, it took less than an hour start to finish.  I can't say enough good things about the whole experience.  I really am enjoying the TV Fortress and so far it has stayed completely dry and having room for my Sonos sound bar is the icing on the cake.  Good job all the way around from TV Fortress, I will recommend it to my friends that have outdoor setups.

TV Fortress and the owner Alan are AMAZING!  We purchased a TV Fortress for our patio in Green Bay, WI and it has been the perfect storage for our television and sound bar for year-round protection and easy access for use - even in the extreme winter months!  Alan has top notch customer service.  He assisted in quickly sending out a second unit to us free of charge when the first unit arrived damaged from the transportation company.  We love the look and functionality of the product and would recommend it to anyone in any climate.

I purchased the Large TV Fortress in September 2021 for my 65” TV for my deck and hot tub.  After looking to build one myself, I shopped around looking for the very best overall functionality.  By far, the TV Fortress was leaps and bounds above every other product out there.  Initially I had an issue with the struts and thanks to Alan and his team for quickly remedying the problem.  It works great in any weather and I would highly recommend this for your outdoor TV."

After putting a pool in our backyard my wife and I began to look for ways to have a television mounted in the area. We went from a stand-alone enclosure with a roof to building something that would extend from the wall and provide a cover to a rolling cart that could be moved and covered. We finally decided to look at television enclosures and ended up comparing four or five different ones. The TV Fortress came out on top in practically every criteria we looked at including price, online information, and aesthetics. Alan was extremely helpful to talk to the couple of times I called with questions.

My primary concern was getting it mounted since I am not the most "handy" person! However, I purchased a mount, was able to attach it to my brick wall, and within 10 minutes of that a friend of mine and I had the Fortress and the television mounted securely to the wall. I honestly couldn't believe how easy it was to do this. On TV Fortress’s website they say “10 minutes 2 People Done” I didn’t think that it would be possible, but it really was true. The top of our Fortress is about 6.5 feet above ground level and my friend and I are both about 6'2" and installation was not a problem at all.

So far we have had a few rains including a pretty heavy 7 inches in about 5 hours and the Fortress has worked great!!  It is obviously very well made and is very substantial.. The gas shocks on the front cover makes it very easy to open and close. Furthermore, the lack of any "transparent" cover on the front means there is nothing to obscure the view of the television.

At this point I could not more highly recommend the TV Fortress if you are looking for a way to secure a television in a place that is uncovered or partially covered."

Alan and his team at TV Cover Store have provided a great new product (TV Fortress) for us to be able to help out our clients that have outdoor TVs! We used to have to have conversations with clients about either spending multiple thousands of dollars on a true outdoor TV or tell them they could get a cheaper TV that would have to be replaced every so often. Now we can provide a reliable option that our clients are already falling in love with!

I recently installed my new TV Fortress and I am in heaven!! It houses a 65 tv. It is completely heat, and rain proof. I was able to use a standard indoor tv which saved me thousands! It also acts as a partial sun block during the day. It fits the tv with plenty of room for a sound bar.  It was easy to install but you do need a little muscle to help.

We loved our old tv cover but have found with the ease of opening and closing we use the tv much more often. I am so happy with this product I am telling everyone I know!
